| If you want shell extensions then register vdfext.dll The vdfext.dll if it is registered then enables the preview thumbnails of the drawings in windows explorer. |
DWG/DXF file support |
| In order to support the formats DWG/DXF within your application you
have two options: 1.VectorDraw File Converter Application must be installed in your client's machine. It is free and you can download it from our site. 2. Obtain the necessary rights for using OpenDesign™ Library from OpenDesign). In this case the vdxfiles.dll, vddgn.dll, vdfopen.ocx* must be distributed and OLE registered in your client's machine. Also the DD_Root.dll must be placed in the same folder with the vdpro.ocx .This dll it is available with OpenDesign's toolkit. Finally you have to place the msvcp60.dll (no OLE register needed) with version 6,0,8168,0 in the same folder. |
You can also use our "Merge Modules" that can be used with various "Setup Authoring" tools. These MSM files contain all VectorDraw files and VectorDraw dependency files and can be merged in your installation. These files are located in the setup folder of VectorDraw components. They are :

* Recommended to copy these three dlls in the same directory with VectorDraw
component
UNICODE build works ONLY in Windows 2000, XP and 2003. If the
operating system of your clients is Windows 95, 95B, 98, 98SE or ME then you
have to use the standard (ANSI) build. Read more information
